The man running the place was nice enough, but he wouldn't even let us look at the back issues. He said he made less than 5% of his money off of them and nobody ever comes in to look at them so they weren't for sale. Well, since I'm from out of town, the back issues were the only reason I went in there in the first place. What a terrible experience. Don't bother wasting your time unless you're only looking for current issues, and even then I'd say take your business elsewhere.
Hes a nice guy i go in every week or so to buy comics and we have small talks about shows we like and what direction we think the producer is going to take them in. Hes cool dude.

I used to live in the area about 15 years ago and the last time I stopped by to visit the owner was 8 years ago. I remember when he had his business in the building across from the old skating rink which was a flea market and then he moved to his current location. It was like a haven for my friends and I who loved all things geeky. Well I stopped by today to see the owner since I was in town and I was surprised by the change in him. He was very disrespectful! Nothing like the old Ed that I knew. It was about 20 minutes until he opened up but his door was open and he was sitting right at the entrance. I said hello and he barely glanced at me. I was asking if he remembered me and he said that I looked familiar but no he didn't. Well I continued to talk to him asking how he was and trying to jog his memory but he did not bother to look at me. He just brushed me off as if I wasn't there. If this was another random business I would have said some things that would not have been too kind. But since this was Ed I held back. If this is how he treats his current customers I don't know how he has stayed in business for this long. I will never go back to visit him again. He has forever lost any respect I had for him. If you are reading this Ed I wish you the best sir and good day.
