This is a one stop shopping store. I've gotten to know the cashiers that work here. Most of my shopping is done here. A very satisfied customer!
Hate having to shop here. Any Walmart, really. This one, however, never seems to keep the same items stocked from week to week (other than certain staples in the grocery department). If you find something that you like here, stock up as it likely won't be carried again.
Rude cashiers but at least they seem to have removed their "greeters" that used to rummage through your bags and hold you up as you tried to leave while they investigate your reciept.... so they get 2 stars for that. Plenty of employees walking aimlessly through the store willing to roll their eyes and give a heaving sigh if you dare stop them and ask them for help locating an item you'd like to spend money on. Welcome to Wal mart!
It's a shame that good customer service is such a rarity now. I went to Walmart this morning to pick up just a few things. One of those things was cheese from the deli counter. It was fairly early on a Sunday so they were not busy at all in fact I was the only customer there. All three ladies proceeded to ignore me. After staring at them blatantly, I ask is the deli counter not open? One lady looked at me and said it's open. And after a pause, I'll be with you in a minute. I responded you know what, nevermind. And do you know not one of those ladies was in the least bit fazed? They could care less if they just lost a customer. I do believe that Walmart is in the service industry if I'm not mistaken. And the customer should take priority over opening boxes. Once again extremely disappointed with Walmart and believe me I try to avoid Walmart if at all possible. Sadly, I know that this is not an unusual experience. It is actually worth it to me to drive to Southern Pines and shop at in the more expensive grocery store that to spend any more money at Walmart. Being valued when you're spending hundreds of dollars it's really important as a customer.
Our visit to Walmart in Laurenberg was perfect. Twice we needed to ask where something was and the employees were courteous and pleasant as they always are. We like shopping at this particular Walmart because it is AlWAYS clean.
