The room was good. We had two doubles and a roll away and still had plenty of room. Breakfast was good. Plenty of options. It was very quiet in our room and the staff was super nice. I'd recommend this place and I would stay here again.
Always a great stay when we come down. Spend every Christmas holiday here and it's the only hotel in town that we will stay at. Great rooms, great service!
On Wednesday August 16th, 2017 my husband, a professional trucker who owns his own trucking company, and our 21yr old son travelling with him were treated with the worst discriminatory behavior I've ever heard of. Unfortunately my husband truck suffered a mechanical malfunction in Lauringburg. He spent half the afternoon working on it and arranging for a parts delivery the next day. After discovering there wasn't so much as a taxi service they walked a mile and a half to the hotel. Mind you, my son and my husband are covered in grease, hot, tired and sweaty and with a half empty parking lot were told there were no rooms. My husband might have looked like a grease monkey but his bank account and his corporate credit card were not! After begging and explaining his situation she refused to rent him a room advising again there was no vacancy. My son stepped outside called inside and was able to book a room. Discrimination!!!!! Shame on you all for judging a man with greasy hands as unworthy to stay at your 3 star facility!!!! Mind you this left my husband and son with no other choice but to WALK an additional mile and a half and stay at the local crack motel!!! My husband has never been treated so unfairly and been judged so harshly and poorly. As a family we've spent countless nights and thousands of dollars with both Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express after this you all will NEVER profit another dime off of our hard earned greasy handed money! I would encourage any other blue collared companies looking to house employees to try the Hampton Inn.
For the few nights we stayed, the staff was friendly, the room was cozy and very spacious. I would absolutely consider visiting this establishment again.
The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast had ample options and was offered until 9:30 am. I would definately stay at this hotel again.
